Who is collecting the personal information? 

CommuteCloud is a mobile smartphone app that serves as a digital platform to drive forward innovation in our current ridesharing and public transportation workflows.

What personal information do we collect?

CommuteCloud tracks the user’s location through their device’s GPS.

Why do we collect personal information?

The user’s location is shared with other CommuteCloud users to optimize the casual carpooling experience.

All users have the option of turning on & off location sharing. 

The user's location is also used to verify they can earn financial incentives when using CommuteCloud at partner RideShare Stations. Users can still earn incentives without sharing their location publicly.
